When You Know You Want to Do Right BUT You Are Fighting with Temptation
Romans 7:21-25
It was January 7, 2019, the day and year anniversary I joined A.T.K.M. Today message was "Remove the Unjust Spirits". I apologize because I don't remember where I listen to this message and who gave it. It was a Monday, and I took off from work to fast in observance of my 1-year anniversary of stepping towards a new level in Christ. I found my church home and it is AMAZING; why? - because GOD shows up EVERYTIME!
As I was moving towards Christ I was still holding onto some strongholds; for one a very toxic relationship I had no business being in the first place. I listen to the message and begin to focus on what the Messenger was stating about unjust spirits. You have an unjust spirt when you do the following:
1. Do what you want to do anyway, even though you know GOD: Yeah, I am Guilty 😥
2. Having thoughts that are NOT pleasing to GOD: Guilty again 😥
3. Having the need to be recognized or acknowledge: Guilty
SIDE NOTE: I did not know I even had this in me until I did not get a position at my job in 2019. I was petty, salty- just plain UPSET then GOD spoke to me. It took some time, but I got better with the decision made. I guess I had to grow spiritually because a year and some months later I got hired for that position. (The way it happened you knew it was GOD) Won't He Do it!!!
4. Not willing to let go of someone you know is not good for you or when it becomes clear to you that a person(s) does not have your best interest. They simply are not kind and don't care about you. Guilty
5. Not trusting GOD...You have to be in control of EVERYTHING! or you say you trust GOD but only when you tried everything or only with selective things. Totally Guilty 😥
I am an alpha female. I became stronger in this personality raising my 4 children myself. To this day God has to say, "no my child, you said you surrender all to me." 😥 "Yes, Lord, I need You; You are my Way Maker".
This is not a read and now you are good or an overnight fix. It takes time and determination to be intentional about removing these spirits. You remove unjust spirts and any strongholds that steal your joy and peace is by meditating on God's Word, stay in prayer, and worship God.

It is now 2021, I still battle with #5 sometimes because I am human, but I get right a lot faster because I acknowledge who truly is in control. LOVE YOU JESUS!
