Write it Down

 Are we lazy God?  Why don't we go the extra mile, perform the extra step, bend into the uncomfortable knowing the hard work will give us great reward?  Why do we hold onto that $1.00?  Why don't we volunteer and share?  Why are we selfish with our gifts...? oops, my bad, selective?

Ladies and gentlemen, it truly starts with us.  Look in the mirror.  How dare we raise our voice, get an attitude, place sway in our questions, tell people what to do, and moving on our own abilities and thoughts.

God tells us something...don't try to remember it!  Write it down!  

When you try to recall what God spoke to you at a later time you will add "your thoughts/views" into the memory and say it was God....Umm NO.

Habakuk 2:1-2

The Messenger spoke on "Write the Vision" on January 31, 2001.  Write it down, pray about it, and then move on it accordingly. 

                    Don't allow yourself to get in the way

                    Remove the ability to be content in your situation.

                    Don't look at what it feels like or look like.... Just follow God.

If you want to have it write every time .......    write it down.

Casting Down Arguments

 I have many thoughts. 🤔

I have many things I want to do.  Wait, retract that.  There are many things I want to obtain to get to the place of comfortability (at least in my mind what I perceive as comfortable).  I wonder if I can get to that place because I am overly cautious or I let situations and perhaps people dictate my movements.  

I recently realized this about myself:  If anyone "has strong words" or questions my capabilities a switch turns on in me where I feel it is my job to educate that person who is coming at me and inform them of WHO.I.AM.   Who likes to be talked to in a negative way?  NOBODY.  It is a real trigger for me that I am still working on (keep me prayer).  

The Messenger in the sermon "Offenses:  Overcoming Offenses" spoke volumes when said, " offenses are the giants in your life that are here to prevent your destiny."  CLICK CLICK

I am allowing someone attitude to dictate my behaviors.  I know it's easier said than done to switch from Peter to Daniel mindset.  Peter acted in his flesh physically with his words and with the sword.  Daniel reacted by bending on his knees and completely trusting God know He is a Way Maker.  Now, Peter knows as well as you and me that God is a Way Maker but how many times do, we still just do us and say, "They don't know WHO.I.AM.?  NEWS FLASH- There is no benefit in someone knowing who you are if they can't see God in you.  You accomplish NOTHING.  

Romans 8:28

Let's get focused:  Our thoughts at the end of the day should be God Purpose.  PERIOD!

1.  You believe someone did you wrong/assume negative intent

• You will never know what a person is thinking if you don't ask.
• Not everyone that comes at you is upset with you; you were just the first person they encountered or the one they can unleash to (so don't take it personal).

2. You expected something that you were never promised. 

• Again, if someone didn't say and even if they said it but their actions are not lining up to what they said then why are you disappointed. 

3.  Stop looking at your hurt and judging everything on your pain.

• This is a BIG one for me because I am cautious.  I react because of the trauma that has happened in my life.  
• The mistreatment: we have to get beyond it and focus on God's LOVE.  We can't grow if we have unforgiveness in our hearts.  

4.  Being Jealous or Envious because you are without.... this is a No No

• Don't look at what someone has because your blessings will not look like someone else, and it will not come the same way as some else.
• This way of thinking and feelings leads to a negative behavior.  You have gifts that are only special for you...discover them and be proud of them.  Watch what God does for you!

2 Corinthians 10: 4-6

 

As I stated before, I have many thoughts but the only thoughts that matter are the ones that lead to God's perfect Will.

God Will Never Forget You

 Have you ever felt that a situation(s) in your life just never seems to get better (never resolved, it just keeps on going on and on and on- where you begin to think that's the way things are supposed to be, or it can't get any better than this for me)?

You.Are.Not.Alone.

For whatever reason God solves/bless some situations quickly, some situations it may linger for a while, other situations seem to just drag on for years. Here is the Good News:  God does not forget you especially if you are doing a Good Work and obedient to His Will.  

Hebrews 6:10

The Messenger speaks on "He Will Not Forget" on December 19, 2021, where the messenger states God is not unjust, and He gives to others to those who give to others who share God's Word.  God looks at your character and what you do.  It is in your actions that reveal who you are.  

God will not forget your work.  

He will keep His promises.

God promises is His debts: You will find your situation answered and resolved.

It is ok for us to remind God of His Glory and Promises by doing this we are drawn to Him.

Mark 9:41 is our proof.... our assurance

Q.    WHEN GOD?  When will I see my breakthrough?  I am sooooooo tired of this!

A.    In His Perfect timing.

We just have to get content knowing our blessings will come.  Rejoice in the process and build on the tools during the process that will make us even more appreciative when the situation is resolved.  Then we will be prepared, appreciative, and equipped to handle the BLESSINGS that follow afterwards.
