Your Assignment #2

 Did you miss me last week?

I was visiting a friend.  I am pleased to say I maintained my assignment.  Colossians 3:2

I stayed the course no matter how many men I saw in a three-piece suit.  I was a good girl. Can I be real!  We are discussing Understanding Your Assignment and at times you will be challenged to see if you overcame or/and ready for your next level.  

There are six things the Messenger spoke on October 30, 2021, that will distract you:

1. People (HELLO)

2. Finances

3. Self

4. Emotions/Feelings

5. Health

6. Perceptionss

Proverbs 6:9    Stay Awake!

Get in His Word, Pray, Study, Worship, and most important "Guard your Gates" (stay on course, don't teeter left or right, watch what you allow to enter your circle that may make its way to your temple)

Philippians 4:8

I love Jesus.

I understand in order to know my assignment I must keep His commandments.

I pray we never falter in our efforts.   John 14: 15

Your Assignment #1

 Psalms 55:22

I love this saying:  "Many things may be good does not mean it's God".  The next 3 articles I will write and focus on Understanding our Assignment.  

I see so many different t-shirts that say, " I understood the assignment" from various of organizations and groups.  It is a clear message stating I saw it, heard it, act on it, and accomplished it efficiently aka: "I did the thang".  

When you understood the assignment that means you took the good, bad, easy, and hard that came along with it.  You endured!

2 Timothy 2:3

So, it simply not just reading about it, you have to live it and experience it to understand Your Assignment.  Each person has their own.... until the next time.

I Have a Name!

 Have you ever felt your back against the wall?

We can get caught up in flesh by placing value in people and their thoughts of us.  Don't shift!

Breathe and rest on God:  He knows your Name; it's time remember it!

On June 11, 2022, my niece had her baby blessing and the Messenger spoke on What's in a Name.

Daniel 1: 3-7

The world looks for beautiful, well spoken, ability to serve without conflict, highly intelligent, but a "go getter".  God looks at the heart. 

Man may change your Name and your position, but God knows your Name.

Look at those who want to count you out or discredit you:  they want to change your speech, change the way you think, change how you eat.... it becomes a cultural change; you eat like the world and act like the world it then changes how you see God- The World will change your Name.  

Change the Name, you change the view.  We have painted pictures in our mind how we should perceive God but if you take a look for yourself, he will speak life and truth to you!

Ask yourself what does God look like to you?  What is your Name?
