I am currently reading "Free Me": Why Life Is Better When It's Not About You by Sharon Hoddie Miller. I am also reading "Understanding the Purpose and Power of Women" by Dr. Myles Monroe. I am always reading the Holy Bible but particular the Book of Judges which my children study every Saturday.
I am learning who I am.
Why I am here.
Getting myself out of any man-made equation.
Knowing I have enough... I don't need more if I trust God.
Now, I have heard this before so why it is moving me to write a different type of Blog...because like many others I got caught up in LIFE (what needs fixing...what I need more of.... who is not doing right....I have to go here and there, and I did not consult God, or I consult him all of five minutes (random check in). I did not devote unsanctioned time to the Lord .... pray and cry out God, I need you instead I treated him like chic fil a [savored, ate, then kept it moving]. Thank you, God, I have enough. I trust you to handle it.
We always are saying we want to be like Jesus, but we can't even be like Paul. Who do you know is joyful about being in prison? Like this Blog, at times I get discouraged with the lack of participation and even with my reading groups, but I hear a voice that tells me don't grow weary...keep pressing on.
So, I may not do this blog weekly like I set out in the beginning. I may not do it monthly because I want to maintain genuine and authentic in my Worship. My daughter went to the alter last Sunday. You can't tell me God is not a Way Maker. The Pastor said something that stuck in my head (paraphrasing here): "What we saw and experience today man could not make happen". 🎯
Always with Love,
A.P.E.P.
